uncle richard and the little girl...
wow... its real!! (fuck la, just go away..)
i hate kids! especially botaks, see that kid over there? he came 2 days sstraight jsut to play my computer. cb sia!
yesh, some of the cast i took with my exlim! see those 2 arties? haha bottom right is bionic and bottom left is the LSV and an infantry soldier. all wayang. that LSV "IA" a lot of times during the whole show. haha lao kwee! PUI!
ok! what is national day to u!? Its just a holiday, but its not just a holiday for me. Its a day when we must all remember the events that made us what we are today. War world, Jap occupation, Roits, Merger and Seperation, Depression, and many more. This yr's celebration is made such that the whole island celebrates together, in the heartlands, north east west, marina and padang. The strage thing is, almost half of the people celebrating are not Singaporeans. They are foriegners from china, (pei du mama) from india (the usual, workers) from European cntrys, (tourist i guess). thats it for the spectators' part. Off to the working parties. SAF, i must say, is very good at wayanging! For a special show (tri sercice show) they put up, they had lots of "callefare" actors. ya. the casts are as follows: elite guards (parachuters), F-15 fighter jets, artilleries, super puma(fast flying heli) chinook, light strike veh (LSV), bionic tank, lots of infantry soldiers, last but not least, a handful of dumb enemies.
first, 4 paratroopers parachute down into the marina south grass field, 3 of them lost footing and fell down upon reaching ground, packed up thier parachutes and when to hide behind the big tv screen, den the enemies came out of their tent, adopted some defence position and stay there, next the 2 F-15 came out flying low, suddenly, 2 grass patch explode! simulating air strike, hao le, the 2 artis camp out from the back stage, shift their turrets up and down, den the same grass patch explode again. den 2 chinooks, each hanging an LSV appeared in the sky, it flew behind the canopy of trees behind the stage and disappeared, wah, den 2 superpumas flew above our heads, across the field. hah, next is the bionic tank, 2 of it rampage towards enemy territory. this time, the enemies retaliate, both sides got a lot of smoke coming out from the ground. suprise suprise, the bionic opens it rear and a whole bunch of infantry guys came out. charge thru the enemies head on. at this time, the superpumas fly around, like the callefares u see when the 2 big bosses fight one on one in TVs, zoom here zoom there, appearing around the scene, but not participating. den the artis did the same thign again, turrets up and down. once again, the SAF has sucessfully captured its objective! well done!
To the public, this is a nice experience, to the working party, its all show and they dunnoe whether their hard work and fatigue would be exhanged for offs, to the organising commitee, its all for show and image. to the foriegners, to hell with u! to me, just gimme back my pink IC! and i discovered that i hate children who are botak!
ok, thats about all, b4 i forgot, a few of my frens also share the same fate as me, andrew, richard kua weixiang, andy hu, jd, aaron, ya, one more thing, the first few lines bout rememberin is all bullshit. :) have a nice weekend
